Traditional VS. GAME DAY SUPPORT MODEL
TEMPERATURE
THE EVENT: A spike in temperature in the IDF closet triggers an auto-alert and ticket, prompting a 24x7 on-site visit by a Game Day Technologies tech.
A failed cooling unit is quickly determined to be the cause and backup cooling methods are deployed.
All before the servers and switches registered a temperature increase, avoiding auto-shutdowns and lifespan impacts.
MOISTURE
THE EVENT: Monitoring detects water on the floor of an IDF closet, triggering an auto-alert and ticket. A stadium staff-member is immediately dispatched to investigate.
Leaking ice machines and overflow from a nearby bathroom are found to be at fault.
Water issues were fixed before they caused a disaster and inflicted costly water damage on critical hardware.
BANDWIDTH
THE EVENT: The Game Day Dashboard and Atomic Monitoring Solution spots abnormally high bandwidth utilization on a fan-facing WiFi access point. The alert auto-generates a ticket and a technician is dispatched.
Investigation determines a Reporter is downloading high resolution game footage. Technician advises switching to Press WiFi to avoid congestion of Fan WiFi.
